  I love love love Pho V&V. The spring rolls, tofu and pho are so good, and the prices are reasonable.

  This small and quaint place was refreshing. The smells of stock and lightly fried food was absolutely amazing. Our server was very nice and accommodating. We ordered the Chicken Spring Rolls, Chicken & Shrimp Vermicelli, Korean Short Ribs, and Taro Boba tea without the Tapioca.
  
  We asked 5 times if we could have white meat with our chicken orders and they ensured that we'd have it. Our appetizers and entrees came to the table with dark chicken meat. At one point it got a little rubbery, and we stopped eating it. The plate also came with 5 shrimp that weren't deveined. My girlfriend really wanted to dive in, but was halted each time by a Shrimp that wasn't prepped properly.
  
  The vermicelli beyond the Chicken and Shrimp was good.
  
  My take on the Short ribs.
  These were not short ribs at all.
  They were bones with meat flags.
  The taste was ok, would not order again.
  
  All in All, this is a very clean and cozy spot for average Vietnamese Cuisine.

  This place is cute.  Plenty of parking spaced in same shopping center as the Good Will (always a plus to thrift shop).  The pho flavor is on point.  I like to take s slurp not sip of the pho broth before adding the jazz to it.  I need to know if the broth will hold on its on if I were to eat it just the way it is.  It doesn't disappoint.  Pho broth was tasty.  I got the pho Dat Biet (Combination) which includes beef flank, beef brisket, eye round, tendon ect... I always order my eye round steak raw on the side and add to my pho table-side so its not over cooked. Then add about two half-dollar sized concentric circle of siracha and one dime size dollop of hoisin sauce (sweet).  Basil, bean sprout, cilantro and jalepenos added in next... finally a squeeze of the lime for that citrus taste.  Voila! An elevated pho bowl right in front of you!  
  
  Now the Fried wontons were a bit "old" freezer burn tasting and the egg rolls were as well.  I wouldn't recommend those two.  I will just stick to the pho!
  
  Family owned and friendly folks.  I am sad that the boba was made entirely of powder/syrup.  No fresh fruits.  But still..come support your mom and pop shop!

  The V V has been our family's favorite place for Vietnamese cuisine on since they opened.  Smallish, about ten tables with a large bar they serve all the usual suspects with a few surprises.  Their version of my favorite Vietnamese dish, Bun Bo Hue, is a good one and if you ask they will put a ham hock and blood cake in it for you.  They're a little pricey, I sure miss the days when you could get a bowl of Pho for $3.99, but it's well worth it.  Service is always fast and friendly and they serve beer and wine.

  This is the best spicy beef noodle soup (bun bo hue) in southeast louisiana. Yes that includes new orleans (west and east bank)and new orleans east. Ive yet to find better bun bo hue.
